Half-Time Report: Cardiff City one up against Reading

Cardiff City go into half time of their FA Cup clash with Reading with a 1-0 lead thanks to Kenwyne Jones's goal.

Cardiff City have gone into the break of their FA Cup tie with Reading with a 1-0 lead thanks to Kenwyne Jones's header.

The game started quietly at the Cardiff City Stadium, with no real chances for either side during the opening exchanges.

Oliver Norwood found himself in space on the edge of the box after good interplay from the Royals, but he could only curl the ball over the bar.

At the other end, Peter Whittingham's curling free kick was not far away from Adam Federici's top corner.

Cardiff eventually went in front through Jones, who headed home after meeting Whittingham's corner.
