Half-Time Report: Burton Albion, Chesterfield all square

Burton Albion and Chesterfield have played out a 0-0 half-time draw at the Pirelli Stadium in League Two this afternoon.

Billy Kee came close to opening the scoring after eight minutes, controlling a throw-in on his chest before attempting an audacious bicycle kick. However, it narrowly sailed over the bar.

The Spirettes came within the width of the crossbar of taking the lead through Sam Hird, who headed a Dan Gardner corner against the frame of the goal with five minutes remaining in the half.
