Burnley appoint Terry Pashley as caretaker manager

Burnley announce that Terry Pashley will take charge of the team on a caretaker basis following the departure of Eddie Howe.

Burnley have announced that youth team coach Terry Pashley has been promoted to caretaker manager following the departure of Eddie Howe.

The 34-year-old left the Championship club to return to League One outfit Bournemouth last week.

Burnley have since confirmed that Pashley will take up the duties of the head coach until a permanent replacement is found.

Reports this week have claimed that former Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Mick McCarthy has been in talks with the Championship outfit over joining the club.
