Elliott Bennett extends Brighton & Hove Albion loan stay

Elliott Bennett has agreed a loan extension at Brighton & Hove Albion that will see him remain at the club until the end of December.

The 25-year-old, who initially linked up with the Seagulls on a one-month deal, is now eligible for selection throughout the busy Christmas schedule.

Since joining Brighton from Norwich City, Bennett has featured on two occasions, helping his side collect four points.

Sami Hyypia's charges are currently 20th in the Championship table.
