Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet has reportedly been suspended by the Championship club.
The Seagulls were knocked out of the playoff semi-finals on Monday as they went down 2-0 to rivals Crystal Palace.
Reports have now claimed that Poyet and his coaching staff have been sanctioned by Brighton officials over a budget dispute.
The Uruguayan has been linked with the Everton job following the news that David Moyes would be taking over from Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United next season.
