Half-Time Report: Cardiff City, Brighton & Hove Albion share goalless first half

Cardiff City and Brighton & Hove Albion have played out a goalless first half in the Championship this evening.

The game's first chance did not arrive until the 12th minute when Peter Whittingham broke down the wing to produce a cross for frontman Kenwyne Jones, but he headed the wrong side of the right post.

City's Stuart O'Keefe was afforded space in the first period and he looked to make use of it by turning in a delivery into the path of Sean Morrison, whose header failed to test David Stockdale.

In a half in which they managed to muster few chances, Brighton might have taken a lead into the break had Lewis Dunk been a little more accurate, after he headed wide from Joao Teixeira's set-piece delivery.
