Half-Time Report: Brighton & Hove Albion 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Brighton & Hove Albion lead Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 at the break in tonight's Championship match at the Amex Stadium.

The Seagulls had a great chance to take the lead after 15 minutes, but Will Buckley was denied by Wednesday goalkeeper Chris Kirkland after being put through on goal.

However, they went ahead 10 minutes later thanks to a slice of luck as Wayne Bridge's effort took two deflections before finding the net.

Jay Bothroyd had a decent chance for the visitors towards the end of the half, but his drive was headed over heroically by Gordon Greer.
