Brighton 1-1 Wrexham

Wrexham hold Brighton to a draw in the FA Cup third round.

Wrexham will take Brighton back to the Racecourse Ground on January 17 after holding the Seagulls to a draw in the FA Cup third round.

Adrian Cieslewicz's goal nullified that of Jake Forster-Caskey, earning the Welsh side a deserved draw.

There were worrying early signs for Wrexham as goalkeeper Joslain Mayebi's mistake almost gifted Brighton an early goal, but Kazenga Lua Lua couldn't convert the chance.

Mayebi was called into action a few more times through the first half, notably from Forster-Caskey, but Wrexham had by this point settled into the game and were creating chances of their own.

Despite reaching half time still level, Wrexham conceded just 90 seconds in to the second period.

Lua Lua's cross from the by-line left Forster-Caskey with a simple tap-in, giving the 17-year-old his second goal in as many games.

The teenager continued to threaten, coming close with a swerving effort, but it was Wrexham who struck the next blow.

Cieslewicz's shot at goal took a deflection, causing the ball to loop over goalkeeper Brezovan's head.

The underdogs almost won it in stoppage time too when Jamie Tolley came close with a fierce strike, but Brezovan was equal to it.
