Mark Warburton expects quiet January transfer window

Warburton expects quiet January

Brentford manager Mark Warburton has said that he does not see the point of doing more business in the January transfer window.

The Bees signed midfielder Lewis Macleod from Rangers earlier this month, while Warburton handed his son Jack a six-month development squad contract last week following a trial.

Warburton says that he is satisfied with the players that he now has at his disposal.

"We are close on one or two deals," he told the Richmond and Twickenham Times.

"But we are in the top six, so we do not need major surgery. We just need a bit of fine tuning and we'll see where we go."

Brentford currently sit fifth in the Championship.
