Brentford have completed the signing of central defender Yoann Barbet from Chamois Niortais for an undisclosed fee.
The Frenchman has signed a four-year deal and is new manager Marinus Dijkhuizen's third signing of the summer.
Barbet came through the ranks at Bordeaux but failed to make an appearance for the Ligue 1 club, before playing 33 matches in Ligue 2 last season.
The 22-year-old has also played for the France Under-18 team.
