Brentford are reportedly interested in signing Bournemouth winger Dango Ouattara.
The Bees have confirmed five permanent signings ahead of the new season, recruiting Caoimhin Kelleher, Jordan Henderson, Antoni Milambo, Michael Kayode and Romelle Donovan.
While they may have bolstered their ranks, Brentford have seen key players depart since the end of last season, including their talismanic attacker Bryan Mbeumo.
The 26-year-old's move to Manchester United has left a significant void in the Brentford attack, leaving them searching for a suitable replacement ahead of the new Premier League season.
Brentford eye Ouattara move
According to Sky Sports News, Brentford are set to make an approach for Ouattara after identifying the Bournemouth attacker as a potential target.
Bournemouth have already received enquiries from Premier League sides and clubs in Europe for the Burkina Faso international.
The update claims that the 23-year-old has told Bournemouth that he wants to 'explore his options' in the final month of the transfer window.
Bournemouth are reluctant to part ways with Ouattara and will only consider sanctioning a sale if one of his suitors meets their asking price.
Ouattara made 37 competitive appearances for Bournemouth last season, scoring nine goals and registering four assists for Andoni Iraola's side.
The winger still has three years left to run on his contract after joining the South-coast side from Lorient for £20m in January 2023.
Brentford still keen on Hutchinson
In addition to Ouattara, Brentford are still considering Ipswich Town star Omari Hutchinson as a viable transfer target.
The Bees have already failed with one bid for the England Under-21 international, but they have not given up hope of striking an agreement with Ipswich.
Hutchinson joined the Tractor Boys on an initial loan deal in 2023, before he converted the move from Chelsea into a permanent transfer last summer.
As a result, the 21-year-old is under contract with Kieran McKenna's side until the summer of 2029.
