Brentford's Richard Lee steps up injury comeback

Lee steps up injury comeback

Brentford goalkeeper Richard Lee stepped up his comeback from a shoulder complaint by turning out for the club's development side last night.

The problem has limited the 32-year-old to just one appearance this season.

However, his outing on Tuesday has resulted in suggestions that he could return to senior action in the near future.

The Bees were trailing 2-0 to Maidenhead United when the encounter was abandoned because of a waterlogged pitch.
