Half-Time Report: Brentford, Oldham Athletic goalless

Brentford and Oldham Athletic have played out a goalless opening 45 minutes at Boundary Park in League One this afternoon.

Danny Philliskirk spurned the chance to give the Latics a 30th-minute lead by heading over the bar from six yards out.

The Bees responded well to the brush with concession and would have taken a 1-0 lead on the stroke of half time if not for the intervention of Paul Rachubka.
