Mano Menezes refuses breath test

Brazil coach Mano Menezes reportedly refused to take a breath test when he was stopped by police in Rio de Janeiro yesterday.

A statement released by the Rio state government has claimed that the 49-year-old coach also didn't have his driver's licence with him.

Menezes is within his rights by Brazilian law to refuse the breathalyser test, but by doing so he would have been handed a $550 fine.

The manager's wife is said to have later given police a copy of his licence.
