Bayern Munich ace Douglas Costa has claimed that he has no intention of being the "new Neymar" as the Selecao prepare for World Cup qualifiers without their go-to-guy.
The Barcelona ace will miss clashes with Chile and Venezuela due to the suspension which he received during the nation's ill-fated Copa America campaign in the summer.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed a stellar start to life on Bayern's wing following a £25m summer move, prompting suggestions that he could step in for Neymar, but Costa says that his international teammate is irreplaceable.
"I'm not the new Neymar and I will not need to replace him," the former Shakhtar Donetsk star told Sport.
"You cannot replace Neymar. What I must do is complete my work and the orders of the coach in the best way. Any team in the world would miss him, but we have to overcome it."
Dunga's men travel away to Copa America champions Chile on Friday morning, before hosting Venezuela five days later.
