Report: English duo eye Charlie Mulgrew

A report in Scotland claims that Bournemouth and Blackburn Rovers are hoping to sign Celtic left-back Charlie Mulgrew on a free transfer.

Bournemouth and Blackburn Rovers have reportedly added Celtic full-back Charlie Mulgrew to their list of summer transfer targets.

The 29-year-old has six months left to run on his contract at Parkhead and it is believed that no talks have taken place regarding an extension as yet.

According to The Scottish Sun, Mulgrew's potential availability on a free transfer has alerted the two English clubs.

The defender started his career with Celtic, before going on to play for Dundee United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Southend United and Aberdeen before he returned to the Bhoys in 2010.
