Callum Wilson 'demanding £60,000 per week to stay at Bournemouth'

Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson is reportedly demanding £60,000 per week to stay at the Cherries this summer.

Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson is reportedly demanding £60,000 per week to stay at the Cherries this summer.

The Englishman scored eight goals and assisted two others last season, but only appeared in 28 Premier League ties after suffering a knee injury.

According to The Sun, the 26-year-old will only be convinced to stay on the south coast if he is offered around £3m a year.

The newspaper says that Cherries boss Eddie Howe was considering a swoop for West Bromwich Albion forward Jay Rodriguez, but is now prepared to thrash out an agreement to keep his current marksman at the club.

Wilson has two years left on his current deal at the Vitality Stadium.
