A thrilling game at Deepdale saw Preston North End secure a 3-2 win over Yeovil.

Sheffield United and Notts County earned a point each in the 1-1 draw at Bramhall Lane.

Swindon Town beat Shrewsbury by a goal to nil and Bury got themselves a deserved point, drawing 2-2 away at Stevenage.

Brentford also grabbed a late equaliser to draw 1-1 with Tranmere.
