Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson has claimed that his aim is to prove he is good enough in the Premier League this season.
The 23-year-old was a key reason behind Bournemouth's successful promotion campaign as he scored 20 goals to lead the Cherries out of the Championship, but he insists that he will not be intimidated by his latest challenge.
"I'm keeping my feet on the ground," Wilson told Soccer Saturday.
"I know it is going to be hard this year, but I'm going into it thinking 'I do deserve to be here' at this moment in time, both myself and the squad.
"We've all got the chance to express ourselves on the big stage. We're not going into the league with the mindset: 'We shouldn't be here' when we play at the big clubs."
Wilson committed his future to Bournemouth by signing a new four-year deal with the club last week.
