Dortmund chief insists Haaland will stay "for a long time"

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc believes that Erling Braut Haaland will remain the Westfalenstadion for years to come.

The Norwegian striker has enjoyed a phenomenal 2020 - being named the Golden Boy and recently becoming the fastest player in history to net 15 times in the Champions League.

Haaland continues to be linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid following his prolific start to life in Dortmund colours, but Zorc cannot see the 20-year-old departing anytime soon.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of Dortmund's Bundesliga clash with FC Koln, Zorc said: "We plan for the long term with Erling. [Rumours] do not have to be dealt with at all. I will see him with us for a long time."

Haaland already boasts 17 goals for the season in all competitions for Dortmund, with the former RB Salzburg man registering a total of 33 strikes in 31 appearances since arriving in Germany.

The youngster is contracted to Lucien Favre's side until 2024.
