Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been ruled out of action "for up to four weeks" with an ankle injury.
The 24-year-old, who joined the German outfit from Shakhtar Donetsk this summer, suffered the knock in Tuesday's pre-season win over Luzern.
"Borussia Dortmund have to make do without Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the coming weeks," a club statement read.
"According to team doctor Markus Braun he will probably be unavailable for up to four weeks."
The Armenian will therefore miss the DFL-Supercup fixture with Bayern Munich on July 27.
