Klopp: 'Weidenfeller is world's best'

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has declared goalkeeper Roman Wiedenfeller as the best in the world.

The 32-year-old ahot-stopper drew widespread praise for his performances last season and Klopp feels that the German is the finest keeper in world football.

"I do not know the rules according to which a decision is made [on the world's best goalkeeper title]," Klopp told reporters.

"But this year he was the best goalkeeper in the world. That is so."

BVB finished runners-up to Bayern Munich in both the Champions League and the Bundesliga in 2012-13.
