Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski has revealed that he is in talks with the club over extending his contract.
Blaszczykowski's contract with the German champions runs out next summer and, after impressing at this summer's European Championships, speculation had surfaced regarding a potential move for the Poland captain.
However, the 26-year-old insists that he is happy at Dortmund and has no plans to leave the club.
"I am under contract with Borussia Dortmund and I am feeling great," he told
kicker-Sportmagazin.
"We are actually in talks with Michael Zorc (Borussia Dortmund's general manager) regarding a new contract.
"I really have no trouble staying on for longer than 2013. I have had five great years at this club thus far."
Blaszczykowski was recently named alongside the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Xavi on UEFA's 32-man shortlist for the European Player of the Year.
