Bangor City striker Leslie Davies joins the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo on the shortlist for the UEFA Best Player in Europe award.

Bangor City striker Leslie Davies has been included on the 32-man shortlist for the UEFA Best Player in Europe award.

The 27-year-old found the net on 16 occasions last season as Bangor finished second in the Welsh Premier Division.

He appears on the list alongside the likes of holder Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney.
