Mats Hummels to miss Germany internationals with hip injury

Mats Hummels has been ruled out of Germany's upcoming matches against the USA and Gibraltar with a hip injury.

The 26-year-old played through the pain in the DFB-Pokal final defeat to Wolfsburg, but will not be risked in the internationals.

The Borussia Dortmund defender has been managing a hip problem for several weeks according to the club, forcing him to miss the friendly with Jurgen Klinsmann's side and Euro 2016 qualifier.

Hummels has made 34 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund this season.
