Gary Madine makes Bolton Wanderers move

Bolton Wanderers sign former Sheffield Wednesday striker Gary Madine on a two-year contract.

Bolton Wanderers have secured the signing of former Sheffield Wednesday striker Gary Madine on a two-year deal.

The 24-year-old has joined the Trotters on a free transfer following his release by Wednesday.

Madine made over 100 appearances for the Owls during his time at Hillsborough.

The forward was released from jail at the start of 2014 after serving five months of an 18-month sentence for causing actual bodily harm and grievous bodily harm.

Bolton get their pre-season campaign up and running on July 11 against Sturm Graz in Austria.
