Sports Mole previews the bottom-half Championship clash between Bolton Wanderers and Bristol City.

Managerless Bolton Wanderers continue to struggle in the Championship after their relegation from the Premier League last season.

Last time out they lost to fellow strugglers Millwall, and they have just four points from the last 15.

Bristol City sit above Bolton on goal difference only with 11 points from 10. Their last four games have produced 14 goals in all, but only two points from 12 have gone to City.

Bolton's top scorers Chris Eagle (5) and Kevin Davies (4) should continue for the hosts, despite the former missing a penalty against Millwall. It is expected to be a largely unchanged side from Jimmy Phillips and Sammy Lee.

Derek McInnes's side lost at high-flying Leicester City in the last game, but the manager has no real injury concerns ahead of the Bolton game and could name the same, if not a similar, lineup.

Recent form

Bolton: LWLDL

Bolton: Bogdan; Mears, Mills, Knight, Warnock; Eagles, Andrews, Spearing, Mark Davies; Kevin Davies, N'Gog

Sports Mole says: 1-0
