Darren Pratley's campaign ended by injury

Bolton Wanderers midfielder Darren Pratley is ruled out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.

Bolton Wanderers midfielder Darren Pratley will sit out the remainder of the campaign due to an operation on his shoulder.

Pratley had suffered shoulder injuries during his time at former club Swansea City, and scans revealed that a recurrence of the problem required surgery, ruling him out until the summer.

Manager Dougie Freedman told BBC Radio Manchester: "The surgeon found bits of screw had snapped off all over it, so he had to take them all out to restructure his whole shoulder."

Pratley has scored twice in 23 appearances for the Trotters this season as they continue to try to secure their Championship status for another year.
