Everton youngster John Lundstram joins Blackpool on season-long loan

Blackpool have signed Everton youngster John Lundstram on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old midfielder penned his first professional deal with the Toffees in 2012 before loan spells with Doncaster Rovers, Leyton Orient and Yeovil Town.

"It's a Championship club, which is where I want to be playing, so I'm really excited to get started," Lundstram told Blackpool's official website.

"We've got the whole season to try and build the team up, and get good relationships with everyone. With a full season we'll build relationships and hopefully build towards having a good finish."

Blackpool begin the new Championship campaign on Saturday when they make the trip to Nottingham Forest.
