The Football Association has charged Blackpool following the recent pitch invasion at Bloomfield Road.

In protest to the club's well-documented off-field problems, a number of fans broke onto the field of play during the closing stages of the final game of the season against Huddersfield Town.

It forced the encounter to be abandoned, with the Football League having recently confirmed that no replay would take place.

The Seasiders now have until a week tomorrow to answer the FA charge, with the punishment likely to be in the form of a fine.
