Peterborough United and Blackpool head in at half time with the scores level at 0-0.

Neither Blackpool nor Peterborough could break the deadlock in the first half of this afternoon's Championship clash at London Road.

The first opening fell to Peterborough when George Boyd looked to find Dwight Gayle, but Matt Gilks reacted quickly to deny the opportunity.

Blackpool came close on 20 minutes when Tiago Gomes let fly from 25 yards out, although the ball just went over the bar.

The Posh came close once again through Boyd, who was played in on goal, and Gilks did well to save from six yards out.

Gayle had a great chance for the home side when Blackpool's defence left him free in the penalty area. However, he couldn't get his head to the ball.

The half-time whistle blew with the scores level at 0-0.
