Report: Rayo Vallecano in negotiations with Ruben Rochina

Rayo Vallecano are reportedly in negotiations with Blackburn Rovers over the loan signing of former Barcelona youngster Ruben Rochina.

The 22-year-old has missed the majority of this season with a shoulder injury, but has since returned to the first-team fold at Blackburn after undergoing surgery.

However, according to Marca, Rayo are in advanced discussions with the Championship outfit, with a view to signing the attacker on loan for the remainder of the season.

Rochina, who is expected to undergo a medical before the end of the week, spent a loan period with Real Zaragoza in La Liga last season, but scored just once in 15 games.
