Preview: Birmingham City vs. Millwall

Sports Mole previews Millwall's trip to Birmingham City on Saturday.

Birmingham City host Millwall on Saturday afternoon, hoping for a victory to keep alive their slim hopes of reaching the playoffs.

Lee Clark's Blues had won three in a row before their 3-2 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Easter Monday, a result which leaves the Midlands club nine points adrift of sixth place.

Millwall come into the match unbeaten in their last three after Monday's 0-0 draw with Ipswich Town, which leaves the Lions 15th in the Championship table. They will be looking for three points to extend the four-point gap between them and the bottom three.

Birmingham could name an unchanged lineup from the defeat against Wolves, which would see Nikola Zigic retain his place up front.

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett could be tempted to change his lineup, with Rob Hulse and Sean St Ledger in contention to start at St Andrew's.
