Report: Real Madrid preparing Mario Mandzukic offer

Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a move for Bayern Munich forward Mario Mandzukic.

The Croatian international has played a key role for the German outfit over the last two seasons, but Robert Lewandowski's arrival this summer is expected to harm his place in the side.

The 28-year-old admitted earlier this week that he intends to leave the Allianz Arena this summer, which has alerted a number of European clubs.

According to Marca, Los Blancos are considering the possibility of a making an official offer.

Mandzukic scored 26 goals for Bayern last season.
