Team News: Claudio Pizarro returns to Bayern Munich XI

Claudio Pizarro returns to Bayern Munich's starting lineup for the home Bundesliga game against Werder Bremen.

Bayern Munich striker Claudio Pizarro has returned to his side's starting lineup for the Bundesliga clash against Werder Bremen at the Allianz Arena, having been left on the bench for the Champions League defeat to Real Madrid.

There is also no place in the lineup for Arjen Robben, as Thomas Muller starts on the right alongside a central pair of Mario Gotze and Bastian Schweinsteiger.

For the visiting Bremen, Franco di Santo starts on his own up front, which means that there is no Nils Petersen in the lineup in order to pack the midfield against the champions.

Bayern: Neuer; Weiser, Boateng, Dante, Alaba; Martinez; Schweinsteiger, Muller, Gotze, Ribery; Pizarro

Werder: Wolf; Fritz, Prodl, Caldirola, Garcia; Bargfrede, Makiadi; Theo, Hunt, Junuzovic; Di Santo
