For Bayern Javi Martinez is closing in on a return but this game will come too soon for the player who has yet to restart full training, which means that Philipp Lahm will continue in his anchor role in midfield.

Mainz could welcome Bo Svensson back from injury and he might come into the XI in place of Stefan Bell.
