Jupp Heynckes hails Ivan Olic

Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes has heaped praise on Ivan Olic.

The striker scored both goals in his side's 2-0 quarter-final second-leg victory over Marseille as the Bundesliga outfit advanced to the Champions League semi-finals after a 4-0 aggregate win.

"I am very happy for Ivica, not only because he played well but also because he scored," said Heynckes.

"He worked very hard. He is a bonus for us now. We know we play every three days and I need alternatives, players who can decide a game."

Olic nearly left the club in January and has been linked with a move to Wolfsburg after spending the majority of the current campaign on the bench.
