Pep Guardiola: 'Points more important than records'

Pep Guardiola admits that three points are more important than his side's unbeaten stretch.

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has insisted that winning matches and not holding records is what counts for his side at the moment.

A win for Bayern against Hoffenheim would see them make it 36 games unbeaten, which would be a club record, but Guardiola just wants the points.

"It's a great opportunity for this great, great club," Bundesliga.com quotes Guardiola as saying.

"But in order for that to happen, we need to play a good game. It's good for the club but, for the team, winning the match is most important."

Bayern have drawn two and won two of their four away games so far.
