Pep Guardiola cancels Bayern Munich press conference amid exit rumours

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola cancels his Friday press conference amid reports claiming that he wants to take over at Manchester City in the summer.

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has cancelled his pre-match press conference ahead of this weekend's Bundesliga game against Hertha Berlin.

The Spaniard was due to address the media on Friday to discuss Sunday's match at the Allianz Arena, but he was a no-show.

Guardiola's absence has fuelled speculation over his future as reports in Spain this week have claimed that the 44-year-old wants to take over at Manchester City in the summer.

However, according to ARA, the former Barcelona boss cancelled the press conference for personal reasons, adding that the coach was also not present to take training this morning.

Guardiola's contract at Bayern expires at the end of the season.
