Bayern Munich's Brazilian centre-back Breno has been charged with arson.
The 22-year-old's home in Munich was burned down during the early hours of Tuesday, September 20 2011.
The defender was arrested by police at the time, before the German club paid his bail.
An investigation has now found Breno guilty of the offence and he will appear in court at a later date.
The crime carries a maximum punishment of 15 years in prison.
