Bayer Leverkusen striker Son Heung-Min has hailed his side's willpower as they overcame Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga on Friday night.
Son grabbed the only goal of the game in the second half as Leverkusen held their nerve to claim a vital away win at Borussia Park.
"The win was really important for us. If we'd lost against Gladbach then it would've cut into our current advantage," said Son, according to the official Bundesliga website.
"Instead we've managed to stay out in front of the chasing pack. We put in a good performance and everyone demonstrated great will power in their desire to win the match."
Bayer find themselves sitting in second place in the Bundesliga table on 43 points.
