A report claims that Paris Saint-Germain will rival Barcelona for the signature of Borussia Dortmund attacker Ousmane Dembele.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing to rival Barcelona for the signature of Borussia Dortmund attacker Ousmane Dembele.

France international Dembele, 20, scored 10 times and provided 18 assists in 47 appearances in all competitions for Bundesliga giants Dortmund during the 2016-17 campaign.

Barcelona have been strongly linked with a move for the Frenchman, although Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc recently insisted that Dembele would not be sold in this summer's transfer window.

According to L'Equipe, however, PSG will refuse to take no for an answer, with the French giants preparing to meet Dortmund's £79m asking price to sign the young forward ahead of the new season.

Dembele has a contract at Dortmund until the summer of 2021.
