Michael Zorc: 'Ousmane Dembele will stay at Borussia Dortmund'

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc insists that 20-year-old attacker Ousmane Dembele will not be sold in this summer's transfer window.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has insisted that Ousmane Dembele will not be sold in this summer's transfer window.

Dembele, 20, scored 10 times and provided 18 assists in 47 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund last season.

It has been reported that Barcelona will "go all out" to sign the France international ahead of the 2017-18 campaign, but Zorc has firmly denied suggestions that the former Rennes youngster will be allowed to depart BVB.

"Ousmane Dembele has a long-term contract and he is in our plans. There are no negotiations. Ous will play for BVB next season," Zorc told Funke-Mediengruppe.

Dembele signed a five-year contract with Dortmund upon his arrival from Rennes in July 2016.
