Report: Carles Puyol back in training ahead of Qatar or US move

Barcelona legend Carlos Puyol is back in training ahead of a proposed move to Qatar or the United States, according to reports.

The Spaniard retired last season and left Barcelona in January after assisting sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta was also sacked from his position.

However, it is believed that Puyol is seeking a lucrative contract with New York City or Al Sadd before ending his career for good, the Daily Mail claims.

The 36-year-old won six La Liga's and three Champions League titles with the Catalan club, and a possible move to Qater could see him line up with former teammate Xavi, who has also been linked with Al Sadd.
