Report: Neymar agrees to Barcelona extension until 2020

Barcelona forward Neymar has verbally agreed to a contract extension at Camp Nou worth £8.7m per year until 2020, according to reports.

The 23-year-old was instrumental for Luis Enrique's charges this season, scoring 39 goals in all competitions as the Blaugrana claimed the treble of La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.

According to Spanish daily Sport, the contract signing is a "mere formality" and will make Neymar the second-highest player at Barca behind Lionel Messi when it is finalised in August.

Neymar moved to the Catalonian capital from Brazilian giants Santos in 2013.
