Borussia Dortmund 'eye Ferran Torres as Jadon Sancho replacement'

Borussia Dortmund reportedly identify Valencia midfielder Ferran Torres as a potential replacement for Jadon Sancho.

Valencia midfielder Ferran Torres has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Borussia Dortmund.

While the German outfit spent big money during the January window, Lucien Favre may need to find a replacement for Jadon Sancho later in 2020.

With the sale of the England international potentially generating as much as £100m, Favre will realistically be able to afford his preferred alternative.

According to Goal, Dortmund could make an approach for Torres, who has also been linked with Barcelona and clubs in the Premier League.

The 20-year-old has contributed six goals and six assists from 31 outings in La Liga and the Champions League this season.

Although the wideman is said to have a substantial release clause close to Sancho's valuation, having just over a year left on his contract may force Valencia's hand when it comes to accepting lower offers.
