Jasper Cillessen will not force Barcelona exit

Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen has conceded that he 'wants to play more than 10 games a season', but insists that he will not force a move away from Camp Nou this summer.

Cillessen has been forced to play second fiddle to Marc-Andre ter Stegen since arriving at the club, and the former Ajax stopper has only made 10 appearances for the Catalan giants this term - nine of which have come in the Copa del Rey.

The 29-year-old has said that while he is not happy with the current situation, he will not be looking to "go to war" with Barcelona this summer in a bid to force an exit.

"I love this club, but I am a professional and I want to play more than 10 games every season, it's that simple," Cillessen told Ziggo Sport.

"The management already know my situation, but I also read that they don't want me to leave and they're happy with my work. I'm not the type of player to go to war with a club. I've been here, in Barcelona, for two years and, for now, I'm going to continue."

Cillessen has not made a single La Liga appearance for Barcelona this season.
