Barcelona 'keen on deal for PSG teenager'

Barcelona are reportedly eyeing a summer move for Paris Saint-Germain defender Tanguy Kouassi.

The 17-year-old has featured on 13 occasions for Thomas Tuchel's side during the 2019-20 campaign, contributing three goals in the process from a defensive position.

The France Under-18 international will see his contract in the French capital expire this summer, though, and he is widely expected to leave the Parc des Princes in search of pastures new.

According to AS, Barca are leading the queue for the centre-back, although German outfit RB Leipzig are also believed to be exploring the possibility of a deal as they prepare to lose Dayot Upamecano.

Kouassi has been with PSG since 2016, progressing through the youth system with the capital giants before making his professional debut against Montpellier in December 2019.

The youngster also helped France's Under-17 side finish third at the 2019 Under-17 World Cup.
