Barcelona lineup vs. Real Valladolid: Predicted XI for Hansi Flick's side in La Liga clash

Ter Stegen to return? How Barca could line up against relegated Real Valladolid

Marc-Andre ter Stegen will start between the sticks when Barcelona head to Real Valladolid in La Liga on Saturday night.

Barcelona's number one goalkeeper returned to the bench for last weekend's Copa del Rey final after a lengthy spell out with a serious knee injury, and he is now set to feature from the start this weekend.

That said, Wojciech Szczesny is likely to be back between the sticks for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Inter Milan next week due to Ter Stegen's lack of match sharpness.

Alejandro Balde and Robert Lewandowski may also be back for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final with Inter, but neither will feature against Real Valladolid.

Marc Bernal remains unavailable with a long-term knee injury, while Jules Kounde is facing a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring problem that he suffered against Inter on Wednesday night, but Marc Casado has now returned to full training.

Wholesale changes are expected from the European fixture, with Eric Garcia, Ronald Araujo, Fermin Lopez, Gavi and Ansu Fati potentially also earning spots in the starting side against a Real Valladolid outfit that have already been relegated from La Liga this term.

Pablo Torre, though, has been a late withdrawal from the squad due to a knee issue.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; E Garcia, Cubarsi, Araujo, Martin; Gavi, Pedri; Fati, F Lopez, Yamal; Torres
