Sports Mole looks at how Barcelona could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Girona.

Barcelona will again be missing Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres through suspension for Saturday afternoon's La Liga contest with Girona.

The two forwards have one more game to serve on their league bans, so the division leaders will be unable to call upon the duo for the clash with their Catalan rivals.

Xavi's squad is in excellent shape at the moment in terms of fitness, though, with no injuries being reported.

Pedri had emerged as a concern when he limped off against Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday night, but the midfielder has been passed fit to feature this weekend.

As a result, there might be just one change from the side that took to the field for the first whistle against Real Sociedad, with Lewandowski dropping out of the side.

Ansu Fati is the favourite to start through the middle, although Raphinha is another option for Barcelona in the final third of the field.

Franck Kessie, Marcos Alonso, Sergi Roberto and Jordi Alba are also among those pushing for starts, but Girona's recent form is likely to lead to Xavi selecting his strongest available XI.

Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Kounde, Araujo, Christensen, Balde; Pedri, Busquets, F de Jong; Dembele, Fati, Gavi
